The Guardroom Consultation Event

On Saturday 20 May we will be holding a public consultation
event at Bury Village Hall from 1pm to 4pm.
This will be an opportunity for residents to come along and
view the architect’s early designs for this project and to
comment.
Many residents will remember the Guardroom as it was
before RAF Upwood was decommissioned, and we want to
ensure that the new designs preserve the history of the
building along with ensuring this is a very usable and flexible
space for the community for years to come.

Along with the public consultation event
we will also be holding an online survey
where you can view a short film of the
architect’s images and then comment on
the designs.
Just visit our website for more
information:

We hope as many people as possible will
take part in this consultation process
either in person or online, we are keen
to hear your views and ideas.
